| An example of a data-driven site is our
Demonstration Golf Club site. This displays
information covering news items, fixtures and notices pulled from a database
before displaying to the viewer. All this "dynamic" information
is compiled or edited and uploaded using purpose-designed forms that make
handling such information a breeze!
A similar site to the above (but an industrial application) has been
fully operational for several years and runs on a client's IIS/SQL Server.
The site gives both up-to-the-minute and historical reports of performance
against set criteria. The site is available on a global intranet so can
be viewed and edited from any client location throughout the world. Editing
privileges are controlled by intranet login user names so separate password
entry is unnecessary.
